Learn how to use the Vitruvi™ Excel Add-in to import data from your Vitruvi environment to create reports from it.
The Vitruvi™ Excel Add-in is a convenient way to download or export your data from Vitruvi™ into Microsoft Excel. You can download your data in Work Packages, Work Orders, Work Items, Work Item Quantities, Pay items, Production Reports, Material Estimates, or Timesheets for a specific selected Program and Program Segment and selected Region(s).
To download and install
- Click this link here to download the Vitruvi™ Excel Add-in to your computer.
- Next, click the downloaded file to execute the installation process.
To access the Vitruvi Excel Add-in
Open your Microsoft Excel.
On the ribbon, on the Add-ins tab, in the Vitruvi™ group, click Open Vitruvi™ Addin. The Excel Vitruvi™ Integration add-in opens.
In the Add-in, enter your E-mail, Password, and Workspace. Then, click the Login button.
For the E-mail and Password fields, it is the same Email and Password that you use when you log in to your Vitruvi environment.
For the Workspace field, you can find it in the URL of your Vitruvi™ environment, it is the name in between https:// and .vitruvi.cc in the URL. For example, in the image below the URL is https://quora.vitruvi.cc/#/app/program_management so the Workspace is quora.
The image below is an example of what the Vitruvi™ Integration add-in will look after you logged in. You can select the data you want to download such as data in Work Packages, Work Orders, Work Items, Work Item Quantities, Pay Items, Production reports, Material Estimates, or Timesheets for a particular Program and Program Segment and Region(s) you are interested in.
